From July 22 to 24, 2025, TLT-Turbo Africa participated in the KZN Industrial and Technical Exhibition (KITE) in Durban, South Africa — a significant gathering place for regional industrial companies. Our booth attracted decision-makers and professionals from the sugar, paper, tanning, and fertilizer industries, which are based in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal and for which our solutions are particularly relevant.
The trade fair team, consisting of Vusi Madlopha (Director of Sales and Marketing for Sub-Saharan Africa), Katlego Nchabeleng (Sales Engineer), Johann Freer (Head of Business Segment Service & Power Fans), and Christopher Dahler (Head of Field Service), used the three days for personal discussions and product presentations, as well as to strengthen existing customer relationships. They focused particularly on our range of services, especially in the area of wear and corrosion protection, as well as our reliable industrial fans, including centrifugal and axial flow types. "KITE provided us with the perfect platform to showcase our expertise in industrial fans and professional services, especially in wear and corrosion protection," said Vusi Madlopha. "The reactions were consistently positive, and we made many promising contacts."
"The trade fair was an ideal platform for observing the market and networking. We also received concrete inquiries with the potential for new projects," Vusi Madlopha summarized. "We are particularly pleased by the interest in customized fans of different sizes and in expanding our third-party business."
With its clear industry focus and high-quality visitors, KITE 2025 provided optimal conditions for fostering new momentum — both in the short and long term — in the region. The central trade fair location in Durban proved to be a logistical and economic hub for numerous industrial companies in Southern Africa once again.
The trade fair was a complete success – yielding valuable contacts, concrete project ideas, and strong momentum. We are looking forward to further developing these opportunities and strengthening our position in the South African market.
