A leading sugar refinery in the North Africa & Middle East region was seeking an energy-efficient, low-maintenance solution for its production line. Already operating several MVR units from other suppliers, the facility faced recurring challenges due to high annual maintenance costs and extended downtimes. The key requirement: a new MVR system that would deliver improved efficiency, require minimal maintenance, and be fully operational before the start of the beet harvest.

TLT-Turbo provided a customized multistage MVR solution incl. control unit for controlling the MVR stages - an additional requirement that went beyond the standard scope of a typical MVR project. The system was specially engineered to meet the operational requirements of the customer’s process.
Leveraging high design and engineering standards, seamless integration into the DCS (Distributed Control System – a centralized system for process automation), and smart logistics, TLT-Turbo – in close collaboration with the customer’s project team – ensured that the equipment was manufactured, delivered, installed, and commissioned in under eight months – right in time for the start of the beet harvest.
